A Groundbreaking OCD Resource – Gap Filler: Captive To Captivated

A comprehensive OCD guide for sufferers and helpers, built on a Biblical Worldview and proven clinical techniques.

NEW BOOK COMING SOON!

I know you didn’t land on this page by accident.

I see you. I am you.

Maybe you’re lying in bed right now, scrolling on your phone and trying not to cry.

Or you’re frantically googling symptoms, desperate for an OCD resource that actually answers your questions.

Or maybe you’re the one watching from the outside – heartbroken and confused, but determined to help the person you love.

I remember being in my head all day, wondering, “What in the world is wrong with me?” I remember the compulsions, the shame, the maddening loop of thoughts I couldn’t escape – and how wicked I felt for having them.

Most people around me didn’t know how to help. How do you fight something invisible and undefined?

OCD is cruel. It wraps itself in spiritual language, twists what was meant to bring peace, and shames you into secrecy. Worst of all, no one seems to understand it – not even in the church.

That’s why I wrote this book. It’s the guide I desperately needed back then, and one I want you to have now. I encourage you to give it to the person who’s supporting you, too.

FINALLY, an honest, comprehensive guide that pulls back the curtain on this mysterious, dark labyrinth that is OCD.

Meet the Author

I didn’t set out to become an expert in OCD. 18 years ago, I was trying to survive it and at first didn’t even know what I was experiencing.

My internal compulsions controlled me, talking to God often involved obsessive confession, and I couldn’t get away from intrusive thoughts in my head that made me feel dirty and shameful.

By God’s grace, my pastors were informed and sensitive to OCD matters and supported me faithfully in my ongoing healing as I later also was treated with ERP by my own counselor.  While I haven’t “arrived,” God has used my suffering to equip me with proven Biblical and clinical tools and resources to help YOU find freedom, too.

Questions You Might Be Asking

Q: “When does the book release?”
A: Soon! Stay tuned for more details as I continue to write it! If you’re on the email list, I’ll keep you updated with upcoming preorder options and launch details. You’ll be the first to know when it goes live. (And no, I won’t spam your inbox.)

Q: “Is this book only for women?”
A:
Not at all. While I only offer individual Christian counseling for OCD for girls and women, I wrote this book for anyone affected by OCD. That includes sufferers, supporters, pastors, parents, teens, ministry leaders, and curious friends.

Q: “Is it for counselors and pastors or everyday readers?”
A:
Both! I wrote it to bridge these two worlds. If you’re a pastor or counselor, you’ll find theological truth and clinical techniques to help you walk wisely with those in your care. If you’re a reader with no professional training, you’ll pick up easily on every single topic, written in plain, clear language.

Q: “Is this book for me if I’m not religious?”
A:
Yes, with love. It’s rooted in a Christian worldview, but written with tenderness for those who’ve been hurt, are questioning, or don’t identify with Christianity at all.

Q: Do I have to be diagnosed to benefit from this book?
A: Nope. OCD often goes undiagnosed for years, especially in religious settings. If you’ve ever wondered, “Is this OCD?” or struggled with guilt, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, or spiritual anxiety, this book will help you understand where you are and give you clear steps forward.
