NEW BOOK COMING SOON!
A comprehensive OCD guide for sufferers and supporters, built on a Biblical Worldview and proven clinical techniques.
A Groundbreaking OCD Resource – Gap Filler: Captive To Captivated
I know you didn’t land on this page by accident.
I see you. I am you.
Maybe you’re lying in bed right now, scrolling on your phone and trying not to cry. Or you’re frantically googling symptoms, desperate for an OCD resource that actually answers your questions. Or maybe you’re the one watching from the outside – heartbroken and confused, but determined to help the person you love.
I remember being in my head all day, wondering, “What in the world is wrong with me?” I remember the compulsions, the shame, the maddening loop of thoughts I couldn’t escape – and how wicked I felt for having them.
Most people around me didn’t know how to help. How do you fight something invisible and undefined?
OCD is cruel. It wraps itself in spiritual language, twists what was meant to bring peace, and shames you into secrecy. Worst of all, no one seems to understand it – not even in the church.
That’s why I wrote this book. It’s the guide I desperately needed back then, and one I want you to have now. I encourage you to give it to the person who’s supporting you, too.
FINALLY, an honest, comprehensive guide that pulls back the curtain on this mysterious, dark labyrinth that is OCD.
-
As the fourth-highest mental health condition, it’s high time we opened up honest, authentic conversations about OCD and its many hidden forms. I pray this book serves as a long-overdue bridge of wisdom and compassion between the sufferer and the supporter, within your church, community, and family.
For the Sufferer:
I know right now you feel deeply misunderstood and dismissed. Being told to “pray more” or “have faith” only deepens the agony. Alone and ashamed, you constantly battle intrusive thoughts about God, your safety, loved ones, or your identity.
This book is your roadmap, showing you how to gain control of that dreadful loop and get your life back. I uncover hidden varieties of OCD, like scrupulosity/religious OCD, relationship OCD, harm OCD, and more.
You’ll finally have a name for your struggles and feel understood, seen, and appreciated for everything you’re going through. You’ll learn exactly WHY your brain does what it does, how it affects your whole self, and practical steps to long-lasting relief and freedom.
For the Supporter:
If you’re a parent, spouse, friend, or pastor already walking alongside someone with OCD and feel like you’re just making things worse, I’m SO glad you’re here! This book is your long-awaited solution.
This book finally gives you the language to understand what your loved one is going through and build your confidence in supporting them. As you read, you’ll become aware of ways you may unintentionally reinforce their “stuckness,” and learn how to help in a way that truly HELPS.
Friend, I’m a living, walking example that no matter how lost or confused you feel, healing IS possible! As you journey through these pages, the Shepherd will meet you in your mess and show you the way to freedom. I can’t wait for you to experience it!

Christians silently battling religious OCD or scrupulosity
You obsess over salvation, sin, confession, or “right faith.” Instead of giving you life, your walk with God feels like a prison closing in around you.
People stuck in shame, confusion, or compulsive spiritual patterns
You love Jesus, but you can’t get control over your anxious thoughts. You feel trapped in a cycle of guilt, doubt, and endless inner checking.
Those wrestling with “hidden” forms of OCD
This includes harm OCD,relationship OCD, or taboo thoughts you’d NEVER dare say out loud, even in counseling or prayer. You fear what they mean about you.
Supporters who love someone with OCD
Pastors, parents, spouses, friends – I know you just want to help, but you’re scared of making it worse. You feel helpless and confused around them.
Anyone desperate to know if healing is actually possible
You’ve prayed. You’ve Googled. You’ve asked ChatGPT. You just want someone to explain what’s really going on and show you the way to freedom.
If any of that hits home, I wrote this book with you in mind. There IS hope and a way out! -
You put this book down knowing how to:
Finally name and understand your battle. Is it OCD? Anxiety? Intrusive thoughts? A “spiritual” issue?
Recognize OCD patterns, cycles, and triggers, and how they differ from “normal” spiritual conviction
Untangle shame from your view of God, self, and others
Practice clinical techniques that align with Biblical truth
Heal from OCD’s impact on your life as a whole – spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally

Be captivated by Jesus as the Ultimate Gap-Filler
See and understand your loved one who suffers from OCD

I wrote this book to let you know you’re NOT crazy, remove the mystery of OCD, and give you a step-by-step guide to the freedom you so desperately crave.

Obviously, there’s no shortage of mental health books out there. And if you walk into any bookstore, you’ll find rows and rows of Christian devotional books, too.
The only issue is – clinical resources ignore the spiritual torment, while most Christian resources oversimplify or dismiss physiological functions.
Secular books treat the brain but ignore the soul.
You get great grounding techniques based on hard evidence, but your walk with God is completely left out of it. Although those habits are practical, how do you translate that mental and physical behavior into your spiritual intimacy with God? It’s helpful, up to a point.
Christian books often dismiss the clinical reality of OCD.
These resources feed your soul nourishing Scripture and theology. But what do you do with your actual, physical mental compulsions? Taking every thought captive isn’t working. Though these resources offer sound advice, the OCD brain translates it as shame, unintentionally fueling STRONGER compulsions. This is where most OCD sufferers feel misunderstood, blamed, and ostracized from the church.
That’s why I wrote this book! Its unique power comes from its strong combination of evidence-based OCD treatment AND the unshakeable truth of God’s Word.
Meet the Author
I didn’t set out to become an expert in religious OCD. 16 years ago, I was trying to survive it.
My compulsions controlled me, talking to God felt like a high-stakes performance, and I couldn’t get away from these intrusive thoughts in my head.
By God’s grace, my pastors were informed and sensitive to OCD matters and still support me faithfully in my ongoing healing. While I haven’t “arrived,” God used my suffering to equip me with proven tools and resources to help YOU find freedom, too.
I know you might think I sound crazy, but yes – healing IS possible for you. God did it for me, and I know He will for you, too.
Questions You Might Be Asking
Q: “When does the book release?”
A: Summer of 2026! If you’re on the email list, I’ll keep you updated with preorder options and launch details. You’ll be the first to know when it goes live. (And no, I won’t spam your inbox.)
Q: “Is this book only for women?”
A: Not at all. While I only offer individual Christian counseling for OCD for women, I wrote this book for anyone affected by OCD. That includes sufferers, supporters, pastors, parents, teens, ministry leaders, and curious friends.
Q: “Is it for counselors and pastors or everyday readers?”
A: Both! I wrote it to bridge these two worlds. If you’re a pastor or counselor, you’ll find theological truth and clinical techniques to help you walk wisely with those in your care. If you’re a reader with no professional training, you’ll pick up easily on every single topic, written in plain, clear language.
Q: “Is this book for me if I’m not religious?”
A: Yes, with love. It’s rooted in a Christian worldview, but written with tenderness for those who’ve been hurt, are questioning, or don’t identify with Christianity at all.
Q: “Do I have to be diagnosed to benefit from this book?”
A: Nope. OCD often goes undiagnosed for years, especially in religious settings. If you’ve ever wondered, “Is this OCD?” or struggled with guilt, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, or spiritual anxiety, this book will help you understand where you’re at and give you clear steps forward.
