Re-Viving Lives Counseling
WELCOME
Meet Rachel
Do you know that you are LOVED? SEEN? HEARD? KNOWN? Is that not the cry of every human heart, to know that we are those four things? Through my own suffering and sitting with others in their sufferings over the years, I continue to resonate with this core desire that we all have.
As a Christian counselor, I seek to embody a safe space, meeting you where you are, addressing both potential “fruit” (symptom) and “root” (cause) of your struggle to see change. I can use various clinical techniques through a Biblical worldview. Recognizing that emotional and physical health are frequently connected, I desire to approach my clients with this holistic approach and where possible to help connect them with appropriate resources for their care.
Mission:
Re-Viving your mind, heart, and soul
Re-Viving your life as a girl, teen, or woman through coming
alongside you on your journey to abide in Christ’s love and truth.
Values:
Christian. Compassionate. Relational. Personalized. Holistic.
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing… As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love.”
-John 15:4-5,9

“I had the pleasure of being Rachel's clinical supervisor during her post graduate years. We spent many hours together as she grew in her skills and experience. Rachel shows determination, compassion, and she has chosen to specialize in OCD and become an expert in treating it. She has extensive training and experience in treating OCD and has shared her personal experience recovering from the grip of OCD, as well. I highly recommend her for the treatment of OCD and anxiety.”
— Carol Shelton, LCSW-S Healing and Hope Counseling, PLLC
“Rachel is a gifted counselor. I know that the people I send to her are going to feel understood, appreciated, and receive the appropriate care. It is because of this I do not have any hesitation to refer to her with total confidence. You can trust her to assist you on your journey.”
— Clifton Hickman, LPC, ASAT, Reviving Hope Christian Counseling
I highly recommend Rachel Woodward of Re-Viving Lives Counseling. Rachel's approach to counseling is both personal and compassionate. She is one of my top referrals for women dealing with OCD, anxiety, and chronic health concerns. I consider Rachel an expert in addressing unique issues such as scrupulosity and pornography struggles for women, as well as the shame that often surrounds these challenges. I feel confident referring clients to her, knowing she provides biblically based, clinically informed care. Her commitment to offering practical, vulnerable, and educational insights about OCD has been incredibly impactful and valuable.
